Delicious Chocolate Cake with Licorice and Orange

For those looking for the recipe for a truly greedy dessert, here is the Soft Heart Cake of Dark Chocolate with Licorice and Orange. A delicious and refined spoon dessert, with an irresistible creamy texture, perfect for your special dinners or for a tasty snack. One of the most popular desserts made original by the addition of Licorice Powder. This Dark Chocolate and Licorice Soufflé has a unique scent. Francesca Laruffa reveals how to prepare it in a few steps.

  • 1 tablespoon of Amarelli Licorice Powder
  • grated zest of 1 organic orange
  • 150 grams of dark chocolate, I used 80% dark chocolate
  • 120 gr of butter
  • 2 whole eggs and 2 yolks
  • 65 grams of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of flour for cakes
  • a few tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • melted butter to grease the cups
  • 6/7 cups

  1. Break up the dark chocolate (possibly 80%)
  2. Place the chocolate in a bowl with the butter and melt in a bain-marie
  3. Combine sugar, eggs and orange zest in a separate bowl
  4. Whip well until we have obtained a light and fluffy mixture
  5. Combine the sifted flour and the Amarelli Licorice Powder
  6. Allow the chocolate to cool
  7. Combine the chocolate with the eggs and sugar, gently mixing from bottom to top
  8. Prepare the cups by buttering them and sprinkling them with cocoa and licorice powder previously prepared
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° for a maximum of 8 minutes
  10. Mix the Licorice Powder with the cocoa powder for the final decoration
  11. Sprinkle the baked cakes with Amarelli Licorice Powder combined with bitter cocoa
  12. If desired, complete the dish as shown in the photo, decorating the Soufflé with orange zest and Clementine Gelèe.
