Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 350 g of sugar
- 150 g of flour
- 100 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 50 g of chopped dark chocolate
- half a teaspoon of salt
- a teaspoon of licorice powder
- 240 g of melted butter
Preparation
- In a container pour the eggs and sugar.
- With the electric whisk, whip the mixture until it becomes frothy and lightened.
- Reduce the dark chocolate into small pieces.
- Melt the butter in a double boiler.
- Gently mixing, add the sifted flour, licorice powder, chopped chocolate, cocoa, salt and melted butter.
- Pour the mixture into a pan with a diameter of about 20 cm.
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.
- Bake in the oven for about half an hour, until a light crust has formed on the outside.
- Check the cooking with a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake: if it comes out moist it is ready. The result must be crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside.
- Let the browns cool completely in the mold before cutting into cubes.
- For a truly irresistible dessert, serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or with vanilla ice cream variegated with licorice.
